Question: How do you give an egg as a present?
Answer: Very carefully. Especially if it’s in the process of drying out, and if broken, could create a stinky, smelly mess.
I wanted to share my pysanky with my family, but how to wrap them up or transport them? Well, egg cartons seem to work, so that’s where I started. I cut up an old egg carton to hold the eggs. Next, I made some small paper bags from larger paper bags using this tutorial. Put some shredded paper into the bottom of the bag, nestle the eggs into the paper, and some twine and a pretty tag, et voila! Easter Egg Gift Bag – ready to go!
