Friday night, I signed up for Apartment Therapy’s January Cure. It’s a month-long program to “cure” your home (i.e. get rid of clutter, get organized, get clean). One of the first assignments is to buy flowers for your home. You cannot skip this step. They say it’s very important. I don’t disagree. Apparently, a lot of people already do this because it was nearly impossible to find flowers Friday evening at five o’clock. I went to three different flower shops, and they were all cleaned out. Finally found some at a grocery store.
Sunday evening, I completed the weekend’s assignment for the January Cure (sweep/mop/vacuum all your floors), and used that super awesome, healthy whole wheat organic flour I bought at the market to make chocolate chip cookies. A delicious end to the weekend.
